The idea of Melitha Consultants was born in 2011 from a desire to help clients by giving structure not only to their financials but to their company as a whole.
Since then our service offering has been expanded as needs were perceived.

Our focus is to offer a full range of accounting services that goes far beyond simple bookkeeping and enables us to assist not only large entities but also the smaller firms.

Our founder and main member's diverse background enables us to effectively advise a variety of clients.

ACCOUNTING
We believe in a big-picture approach towards bookkeeping. As a result of this we do not look at bookkeeping as a function, but the impact that each transaction has at the end of the day. We start by assessing your needs and evaluating your current finances. From here we make recommendations on the way forward.
We deliver full function accounting from capturing our clients information on desktop or cloud accounting software, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, compiling of financial statements at year end and engaging in Independent Review (where applicable).
If our clients prefer to capture their own accounting information, we deliver a review service on a monthly, bi-annual or annual basis.
We assist with cashflow forecasting and management statements if required.
PAYROLL
We use payroll software that is cloud based to enable our clients to still manage their own payroll or we can manage it for them. Reports can be generated at the click of a button, which makes submitting your monthly payroll taxes easy. We don't only manage bi-annual and annual payroll reconciliations and end procedures, but assist our clients with bulk tax registrations for their employees. We submit payroll taxes, UIF reports and WCF reports as well.

TAXES
We give an overview of our clients tax affairs by establishing the current status with a Tax Clearance Certificate. Our aim is to assist our clients to get their tax affairs in order and keep it that way by monitoring their affairs and communicating any progress on affairs in a timely manner.
We keep our clients informed with all the different taxes that needs to be calculated and filed throughout the year. From provisional taxes for all three periods to year end taxes for companies, trusts and individuals. We calculate and submit VAT and dividend taxes.
We assist with reviews or queries relating to SARS and if required, visits to a SARS branch.
We assist with registrations at SARS for individuals, companies and trusts.
ADMIN
We can assist in the registration of companies and changes that needs to be made to existing companies. We assist in the calculation, completion and submission of the annual CIPC return. We can issue a B-BBEE Affidavit for companies with an annual turnover of less than R10million .
